NASTRAN IN-CAD

Course Description:

Autodesk NASTRAN In-CAD is a versatile strength and vibration analysis tool that is part of the Autodesk Product Design and Manufacturing Collection. This course starts with an overview of the Finite Element Method and into basic stress analysis. It then covers various analysis types, each with their own exercise. Modeling tips and techniques for improving analysis speed and results are also discussed.

Requirements:

No previous CAD experience is necessary. However, it is recommended that the student have a working knowledge of Microsoft Windows. Applicable software includes Navisworks Simulate or Navisworks Manage.

Course Description:

InfraWorks is a comprehensive solution for design, presentation and collaboration of your projects in their earliest stages as well as the final stages. This course will explore those design tasks within the context of

Autodesk Simulation CFD

Course Description:

Over the course of two days, students will learn the basics of finite element analysis (FEA), how to set up a static stress analysis for single parts and assemblies, and how to interpret simulation results through the use of Autodesk Inventor’s Stress Analysis environment. IN addition, they will also discover how to analyze kinematics of moving assemblies through the Dynamic Simulation environment, and how to incorporate those results back into a stress analysis for further investigation.

Requirements:

Students should have a solid understanding of Autodesk Inventor core functionality, including creating parts and assemblies, modifying features, and identifying critical parameters. Recommended: Basic knowledge of finite element analysis or experience with other similar software tools will be helpful, but not required.

Course Description:

This foundation-level courseware covers the operation of Autodesk Simulation CFD. This two-day training course is intended to give students comprehensive experience with the features Autodesk Simulation CFD. Hands-on exercises throughout the courseware explore how to create a model, setup a simulation and investigate the results. While this course is not a course on computational fluid dynamics theory or practice, it is a course on the operation of a very powerful tool for using that theory to model real world design challenges.

MECHATRONICS

Course Description:

Being able to create a digital prototype of your wiring will allow your electrical and mechanical engineers to commumicate and validate their wire systems earlyier in their design phase. In this course you will learn to use tools specifically made for this task. Learn how to create a 2D schematic wire diagram in AutoCAD Electrical and use that data to create a wire harness using Autodesk Inventor’s Cable&Wireharness. This course will teach you how to document a nailboard and include reports of wire and component information.
